EL COMERCIO COMO EXPRESIÓN DE LA GLOBALIZACIÓN


Los Esfuerzos para Eliminar las Trabas y Facilitar el Comercio son algunos de los temas incluidos en la plenaria El Comercio como Expresión de la Globalización que se efectuará en el marco del 36 Congreso Hemisférico de Cámaras de Comercio e Industria Latinas a celebrarse del 1 al 4 de junio 2015 en el Biltmore Hotel de Coral Gables.



En esta plenaria, Mr. Antwaun Griffin, Deputy Assistant Secretary for U.S. Operations, Int'l., Trade Administration, U.S. Dept. Of Commerce nos hablará sobre los progresos y alcances de las Alianzas Transpacífico y Transatlántica; el Sr Ricardo Mewes Schnaidt, Presidente de la Cámara Nacional de Comercio, Servicios y Turismo de Chile nos informará cuantos países latinoamericanos están incluidos en la Alianza Transpacífico; el Hon. Jorge Eduardo Briz Abularach, Presidente, de la Cámara de Comercio de Guatemala nos dirá los países latinoamericanos beneficiados por la alianza Transatlántica; el Dr José Antonio Villamil, Presidente the Washington Economics Group Inc. nos tratará sobre la Alianza Pacifico (Chile, Perú, Colombia y México) y sus relaciones con el Estado de la Florida. Finalmente el Prof. Eduardo Gamarra, FIU, Department of Politics & International Relations versará sobre las tendencias políticas y económicas de los Estados Unidos.



COMMERCE AS AN EXPRESSION OF GLOBALIZATION

The efforts to eradicate the hurdles and to facilitate Commerce are some of the topics included in the plenary entitled Commerce as an Expression of Globalization that will be discussed in the frame of the 36th Hemispheric Congress of Latin Chambers of Commerce and Industry, to be celebrated from June 1st to the 4th, 2015 at the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, Florida.


Mr. Antwaun Griffin, Deputy Assistant Secretary for U.S. Operations, Int'l., Trade Administration, U.S. Dept. Of Commerce will provide an update on the progresses and scopes of the Transpacific and Transatlantic Alliances; Mr. Ricardo Mewes Schnaidt, President of the National Chamber of Commerce, Services and Tourism of Chile as being the leaders of these Alliances will inform us on significant advantages that Latin-American countries can achieve as well as which Central American countries are included in the Alliances; Hon. Jorge Eduardo Briz Abularach, President, of the Chamber of Commerce of Guatemala will explain the Latin-American countries that have benefited as a result of Transatlantic Alliance; Dr José Antonio Villamil, President the Washington Economics Group Inc. It will treat us on total business from these four Pacific Alliance Members (Chile, Peru, Colombia and Mexico) and their business relations with the State of Florida. Finally, Prof. Eduardo Gamarra, FIU, Department of Politics and International Relations will provide a briefing on the economic and political tendencies of the United States.
